During the year of full-scale war, Russia has used almost all weapons in Ukraine, except for nuclear weapons.
Many military experts and analysts say that Russia is “shuffling the old deck” and has nothing to surprise the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In an exclusive interview with TSN.ua, military expert Serhii Hrabskyi told whether the enemy has something we have not seen in more than a year of this full-scale war.
“The only resource they have that is still very powerful is the human resource. They can only surprise us with dense attacks not of units, but of entire columns. But this will not change the situation much. During the year of war, we seem to have seen everything possible. Everything our enemies could use against Ukraine, they have already used. Except for nuclear weapons. I am very critical of the possibility of using nuclear weapons,” he said.
According to Hrabskyi, we must realize that we are not dealing with reasonable people. The enemy had the ability to use massive aviation. The enormous losses they suffered in the fleet and in personnel indicate that they are incapable of launching strikes.
“The Russian Federation or any other state that existed within that territory has never had access to massive air operations. Therefore, during the Soviet Union, the army attacked mainly from the ground, and aviation played a secondary role. Therefore, it is impossible to surprise us with this. Attacks from the sea are also impossible. Because any landing force would be destroyed on the approach to our coast,” the expert said.
Hrabskyi noted that Russia had a limited number of boats to carry out such an amphibious operation. Out of 11 landing ships, three are under constant repair. Thus, it is difficult to surprise us, the military expert added.
