WIESBADEN (dpa-AFX) – German industry once again received fewer orders in June. Compared to the previous month, orders fell by 0.4 percent, the Federal Statistical Office announced on Thursday in Wiesbaden. It is the fifth decline in a row. However, analysts had expected an even sharper decline on average. In view of the increased uncertainty caused by the Ukraine war and an impending gas shortage, demand continues to be weak, commented the Federal Ministry of Economics./bgf/jha/
