During the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage through the Kerch-Yenikal Strait was carried out by:
- to the Sea of Azov – 35 ships, of which 4 ships were moving from the Bosphorus Strait;
- to the Black Sea – 18 vessels, of which 8 vessels continued their movement in the direction of the Bosphorus Strait;
“Russia continues to violate the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea of 1974 (SOLAS) by turning off automatic identification systems (AIS) on civilian vessels in the waters of the Sea of Azov,” the message reads.
We will remind, Polish military experts indicate that Russia has been using “insidious” tactics of missile strikes for some time. The purpose of such massive strikes from various directions is not only to hit the target, but also to activate Ukrainian air defense. An example of such an attack was the recent rocket attack on a residential building in Dnipro, which killed 45 people. Former head of the Air Force and ex-inspector of the Air Force of Poland, General Tomasz Drevniak, says that similar “tricks” have already been used in other armed conflicts.
