The Russian invaders began to kidnap personnel among the key managers of the nuclear plant.
On July 17, Russian soldiers kidnapped Ihor Kvashnin, the head of the environmental protection service of the temporarily captured Zaporizhzhia nuclear power station in Energodar.

The occupiers continue to destabilize the situation at the ZNPP and resort to new methods of terror. They began to kidnap personnel from key management positions at the ZNPP.
“The invaders captured and took the head of the environmental protection service, Ihor Kvashnin, to an unknown direction. At the moment, it is impossible to establish his whereabouts,” the report says.
“Energoatom” emphasized that the service is responsible for the safety of the NPP environment, that is, the absence of contamination by any substances, including radioactive ones.
We will remind the Russians withdraw equipment to the Zaporizhzhya NPP and fire at it. There are up to half a thousand Russians at the ZANP. They physically control the perimeter of the station.
