The occupiers are demanding to give up the so-called “L/DNR passport” in favor of Russian citizenship.
The Russian authorities are continuing measures to force passporting of the population of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
About this reported on Saturday, March 11, in the evening assembly of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As it became known, the military leadership of the armed forces of the Russian Federation obligatorily requires all those mobilized from previously occupied territories to sign long-term contracts for military service in the Russian army.
“For this, it is necessary to have a copy of the passport of a citizen of the Russian Federation among the rest of the documents. In this way, the occupiers are trying to force them to give up the so-called “passport of the L/DPR” in favor of Russian citizenship,” the report says.
In case of refusal, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informs, servicemen and members of their families are threatened with being deprived of all established payments and social protection provided for servicemen of the occupation army.
We will remind you that the Russian invaders in the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region mock local residents, forcing them to obtain passports of the occupying country.
