The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said that the negotiations with Russia now resemble not a dialogue, but ultimatums from the Russian Federation.
The Russians suggest that Ukrainians forget that we have our own land, flag and history.
The president said this during online meetings with African media representatives.
Zelensky emphasized that wars end with negotiations, but the road to these negotiations is long and bloody. The Ukrainian leader said that the latter for three years he tried to talk to Putin, but the Kremlin refused to organize a conversation with the dictator.
“Everywhere they say that they are ready for dialogue. But this is a lie. What kind of dialogue is this?… They tie our hands, cut out our tongues, and then say that they are ready to speak. This is not a dialogue, this is a terrorist who feels power in himself and is ruthless to human life. They offer no dialogue. They they offer us to surrender, to accept their “peace”, to forget that we have a land, a flag, that this is our history, just to erase us– said the President of Ukraine.
We will remind, the spokesman of the Russian dictator Putin, Dmytro Peskov, said that Russia is ready to agree to peace talks with Ukraine. Peskov stated that the Russian Federation is allegedly ready to settle the “Ukrainian problem” if Ukraine fulfills the Kremlin’s demands.
